Nutella Dessert Bar, Sydney - 'Foodcraft Espresso and Bakery' new 'Tella Ball Dessert Bar'

After reviewing the hugely popular 'Foodcraft Espresso and Bakery' - a came-out-of-the-blue food destination spot in Sydney's Erskineville, and then watching the swell of popularity reach fever pitch, I thought nothing could top this kind of mad success for venue owner Aki Diakos.

I was wrong.

Now, it has just been announced that the man behind it is planning another evil-good Nutella-filled haven. What is this sorcery? What IS this promise of only Nutella filled goodness, filled to the brim with even more Nutella creations? Yes, it's happening.

We need not wait too long, either.

The new eating destination hot spot will be opening in November 2015, and all we know right now is that it will be in Dulwich Hill, the suburb where Aki grew up.

You can like the new page they've called Tella Ball Dessert Bar (the name of the new venue) right here.

What will be served? Waffles, puddings, crêpes  pancakes, mousse, eclairs, sweet breads, cakes, brownies and crème brûlée, plus new flavours of the Ball Shakes - including peanut butter and cheesecake.

And you can like their Foodcraft Espresso and Bakery Facebook page here.

Here is the review I posted publicly on the above Facebook page, when my dining partner and I went to sample some goodies there, and not just the Tella Ball shake (they do fantastic breakfasts, and sangers, and burgers, and all day foods. ALL so good. (Then feast on the photos below...)

My first experience of Foodcraft today. Exceptional. Let's start with the coffee - Single Origin Roasters. SO darn good. Next, what to order? Well, I came for the Tella Ball shake (Nutella shake with a Nutella-filled donut 'ball' wedged in the straw), and wow. So moreish, so good. And that's just the shake. I had to take the Nutella ball to go as I then ordered this: Italian Baked Eggs (baked eggs with sopressa salami, roma tomato, fresh basil, Provolone cheese, with Grana Padano and garlic infused olive oil… I know, I am salivating all over again), and the huge serve (which again, I could not finish!) came with yummy slabs of perfectly grilled Italian bread. My guest had the Reuben sandwich and I had serious food plate envy. I would have stolen his beer batter chips but I was getting so full. The service - fantastic. The whole crew were attentive, and Aki and Simon made us feel very welcome. Top points, guys. I have been raving on Instagram all day. Wait time: very fair, and they look after the hungry people waiting, too. They're acknowledged upon arrival, and lists are kept and honoured. TIP: sit in the sun mid-morning and soak up some Vitamin D. Post-shakes and loaded up with yummy carbs and protein, you'll be ready for a nap. Excellent all around :) x

The Italian baked eggs... oh my. SO good!

Yes, that's a delicious Reuben sandwich. My dining partner tells me it was fantastic (I did steal some of  his chips... they were perfect!)
